Grayton Newman is a two time award winning narrative audio producer, photographer, and multimedia creative living in Denver, CO.
Recognition of Gray’s audio work ranges from being selected as one of five young Coloradans to participate in the 2021 class of NPR’s Next Generation Radio, to having his work placed in the Highly Commended category of RØDE’s My RØDE Cast podcasting competition, to being the regional winner of the Society of Professional Journalists’ 2022 Mark of Excellence Awards in Narrative Podcasting.
In addition to street photography, he has photographed concerts for bands such as NoMBe, Lewis Del Mar, Young the Giant, Cleopatrick, Vista Kicks, and Grandson.
He holds a degree in Emergent Digital Practices, with a minor in Marketing from The University of Denver. He previously attended the arts conservatory high school New Orleans Center for Creative Arts. There, he studied Media Arts (a discipline consisting of filmmaking and audio production).
